Gluten Free and Vegan Flapjacks

These flapjacks are very easy to make with just only 4 ingredients. However, they contain a very large amount of nutrients. Let’s cook with An’s Kitchen now!

 Gluten Free and Vegan Flapjacks

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g gluten free oats
  • 200g dairy-free butter
  • 50g light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp golden syrup

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 200C.

2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, mix together the butter, brown sugar and golden syrup.

3. Stir the mixture occasionally, until the butter and sugar have melted. Fold in in the oats until they are well coated.

4. Pour into a square baking tin. The mixture should be about 2 to 3cm thick to ensure it cooks through.

5. Bake for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden.

6. Cut into squares, then leave to cool completely before removing from the tin.
